About the Bears |

The Tartan Fabrics.
There are two types of Fabrics that the Farraline Tartan Teddy Bears are available to order in, the first is what we call ‘Man Made’ Tartan Fabric and the second is called Woollen Fabric.
The difference between the two fabrics is the thickness and texture. The Woollen Fabric is thicker and made from wool and is used to make Kilts.
The second is a Man Made fabric and is lighter and has a softer texture. There is a difference in price between the two different fabrics however we are very confident that no matter what Farraline Bear you buy you will be more than satisfied with the look and feel of the fabric we use!!!

Maintenance
The Teddy Bears can NOT be washed in a washing machine or tumble dried using any kind of tumble dryer. If the Bear needs washed it can be Hand Washed only.
Other Materials Used
Farraline Tartan Teddy Bears are stuffed using a polyester material which is BS5852 British standard approved material.
Apart from the filling we only ever use the best quality Tartan Material at our disposal so you can be assured of a very good quality Tartan product, which is Authentically Scottish.
